Velocity Print Solutions Reduces Electric Usage with National Grid Program

Albany, NY –
Velocity Print Solutions has recently completed an upgrade of lighting in its 85,000 sq ft Scotia facility. The project was conducted under the National Grid Lighting Program for Energy Efficiency Results for small businesses. The improvements will result in more efficient lighting and it is expected that they will reduce our requirements for electricity by over 100,000 kWh per year. Dave Benny, General Manager of the Scotia Velocity facility stated that: “This project was a perfect fit for our business. We were able to improve our workplace for our employees by 50% brighter lighting, save a significant amount of money on utilities and reduce our energy consumption for the environment. Definitely a win-win for everyone.”
